Original design by Arne Jacobsen & Verner Overgaard
Handmade in Denmark since 1968, virtually unchanged.
Vola HV1 washbasin tap
The HV1 is the origin of a design icon. Designed in the late 1960s by Arne Jacobsen in collaboration with Vola founder Verner Overgaard, it marks a turning point in the history of modern faucets: all technical components disappear from view, leaving only the spout and handle visible. A revolutionary concept at the time, it continues to set standards today.
Its form follows a consistent geometric concept. The circle, as the central design element, represents timelessness and continuity. Handle, rosette, and spout are perfectly coordinated, forming a harmonious relationship that lends the fitting its exceptional calm and balance.
In daily use, the HV1 impresses with its clarity and precision. The compact single-lever mixer allows for intuitive control of water volume and temperature.
Crafted from solid, lead-free Brass and available in a variety of elegant Vola finishes, this faucet meets the highest standards of material quality, sustainability, and durability. Its design is so consistent that it was included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1974, one of the highest accolades for industrial design.
The HV1 is not a trendy product, but the origin of a design philosophy that continues to this day. A fitting that demonstrates how powerful reduction can be – uncompromising, precise, and timeless.
Vola – Danish design with character
For over 50 years, the Vola brand has stood for iconic faucets and bathroom accessories that impress with their timeless aesthetics and uncompromising functionality. Thanks to the collaboration with renowned architect Arne Jacobsen, Vola continues to shape the Scandinavian design philosophy: reduction to the essentials, durable materials, and impeccable craftsmanship, all handcrafted and produced exclusively in Denmark.
Every Vola product reflects the idea that good design unfolds its power in its simplicity. The characteristic clarity, the attention to detail, and the selection of the finest finishes make Vola the first choice for design-oriented bathrooms worldwide, from private homes to international luxury hotels.

Of course, we can supply all available Vola colors and PVD surfaces for you.

*Important note regarding the "natural Brass " (19) Surface from Vola
The untreated, high-gloss polished Surface develops a desirable patina over time. Since bathroom fixtures and accessories consist of various components, these can age at different rates. This change is natural and does not constitute grounds for complaint.

Einfach Klasse!!
Excellent service, fast shipping and very well packaged, the items are exceptional in quality and I would recommend them highly. Great communications and very good shipping cost, overall I had a excellent experience.
Thank you Simon 😊
Store owner replied:
Hi Sherryl,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the USA import charges were higher than expected, and we completely understand you.
As your order was shipped to the U.S., no German VAT was charged on your purchase. However, import duties and carrier fees may be charged upon import into the U.S. These charges are determined and collected by the U.S. authorities and are unfortunately outside of our control.
Despite that, we sincerely hope that you are happy with your purchase and our service.
Your dasfeinebad Team
