Vola HV1 washbasin tap

The HV1 is the origin of a design icon. Designed in the late 1960s by Arne Jacobsen in collaboration with Vola founder Verner Overgaard, it marks a turning point in the history of modern faucets: all technical components disappear from view, leaving only the spout and handle visible. A revolutionary concept at the time, which continues to set standards today.

Its form follows a consistent geometric concept. The circle, as the central design element, represents timelessness and continuity. Handle, rosette, and spout are perfectly coordinated, forming a harmonious relationship that lends the fitting its exceptional calm and balance.
