Vola Washbasin Faucet HV1
The HV1 is the origin of a design icon. Designed in the late 1960s by Arne Jacobsen in collaboration with Vola founder Verner Overgaard, it marks a turning point in the history of modern faucets: All technical components disappear from view, leaving only the spout and control lever visible. A revolutionary concept at the time, it still sets standards today.
Its form follows a consistent geometric idea. The circle as a central design element stands for timelessness and continuity. The lever, rosette, and spout are perfectly coordinated and form a harmonious ratio that gives the faucet its exceptional calmness and balance.
In daily use, the HV1 impresses with its clarity and precision. The compact single-lever mixer allows intuitive control of water volume and temperature.
Made from solid, lead-free Brass and available in a variety of elegant Vola finishes, this faucet meets the highest demands for material quality, sustainability, and durability. Its design is so consistent that it was included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1974, one of the highest honors for industrial design.

*Important note on the "Brass natural" (19) finish from Vola
The untreated, high-gloss polished surface develops a desired patina over time. Since bathroom faucets and accessories consist of various components, these may age at different rates. This change is natural and does not constitute a reason for complaint.
