This type of dyeing is characterized by the fact that the dye penetrates deeply into the leather rather than being simply applied on top. This preserves the leather's surface structure, making each product unique in its quality.

The leather for the toiletry and cosmetic bags from the F. Hammann leather manufacturer is tanned in Santa Croce near Florence, Italy, from the finest Alpine hides. This process takes place in closed-loop processes without the addition of chromium salts, significantly exceeding the latest EU environmental standards.
