Unique weekender in loden gray/ cox orange by F. Hammann
This weekender bag was inspired by the spacious and practical historical doctor's bags. It is a true embodiment of luxury and craftsmanship. Every detail, from the choice of bull leather to the finely lined suede leather inside, was carefully considered and executed to create a bag of the highest quality and functionality.
The natural bull leather is characterized by its fine natural grain, giving each bag its uniqueness since no two bags are exactly alike. The beige suede leather lining forms a harmonious contrast to the outer leather and emphasizes its elegance.
Thanks to the invisibly integrated steel frames, the travel bag can be opened wide and quickly, remains in this open position, and thus allows easy, comfortable, and uncomplicated access to the contents.
The wide zipper is sturdy yet smooth, and the outer pocket offers quick access to travel tickets and other essentials.
Loden: A traditional fabric rediscovered
Loden was chosen as the main material for this weekender. Loden is a high-quality fabric made from 100% natural Austrian sheep's wool, refined through a process of up to 40 steps. Due to its high weave density, the material is not only robust but also water- and dirt-repellent, making it especially easy to care for. Its unique quality comes from fulling, which gives the fabric its felt-like texture and functional properties. Additionally, the wool is enriched with fine fibers from other animals such as alpacas and cashmere goats, making loden a symbol of alpine textile tradition and natural elegance.

F. Hammann Leather Goods since 1864
In today's fast-paced times, it is rare to find products that are crafted both by hand and with such dedication to detail. At F. Hammann, one of the oldest manufacturers of leather goods in Germany, you can feel the passion and skill in every millimeter of this product.
The factory of fine leather goods is located and produces in Offenbach am Main. Since its founding in 1864, the manufactory has been one of the most traditional manufacturers of leather goods and personal travel accessories in Germany. The leather products are designed for a long service life and often last a lifetime.
Should a defect occur in the products, we offer a repair service for the beloved items.
The sustainable processing of the leather
This durable bull leather from southern Germany and Austria gets its natural color through the rare and elaborate aniline dyeing. This type of dyeing is characterized by the dye penetrating deeply into the leather rather than just being applied on the surface. This preserves the surface structure of the leather, making each product unique in its texture.
The leather for the F. Hammann manufactory is tanned in Santa Croce near Florence in Italy from the finest bull hides. It is tanned without chrome salts and in closed loops, significantly undercutting the latest EU environmental standards. The leather is a by-product of the local industry - no animal is used exclusively for its leather.
